Delete Your Account & Data
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This page explains how to permanently delete your Lova account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to everyone who uses Lova — through the website at lova.dev, the client portal, or the Lova mobile apps for Android and iOS (package dev.lova.app). You do not need an active project or a paid plan to request deletion.
What data we hold
When you use Lova, we may hold the following categories of information about you:
- Account & profile information — your email, name, company name, phone number, and login credentials.
- Project content — files, messages, briefs, deliverables, and milestones inside your portal.
- Usage & diagnostics — crash and error reports, plus request logs used to keep the service running and secure.
- Billing records — invoices, the last four digits of a payment card, and transaction IDs. We never store full card numbers.
This data is processed on our behalf by a small set of trusted providers: Supabase (account database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Sentry (crash diagnostics), Cloudflare (hosting and edge logs), Resend (transactional email), and HubSpot (customer communication). When you delete your account, we remove your data from each of these systems. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Notice.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and data, email us from the address associated with your Lova account:
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Use the subject line "Delete my account"
Sending from your account email lets us verify your identity quickly. If we cannot match the request to an existing account, we may ask you a few questions to confirm you own it before we proceed. Once your identity is verified, we complete the deletion within 30 days and email you to confirm it is done.
What gets deleted vs. retained
Deleted
We permanently erase your account and profile information, your login credentials, your project content (files, messages, briefs, and deliverables), your customer-communication history, and your crash and diagnostic data tied to your account.
Retained for a limited time
Some records must be kept to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations — most notably invoices and transaction records, which we are required to retain for a fixed period under applicable law. These records are kept only as long as the law requires, are not used for any other purpose, and are then permanently purged. Anonymized, aggregated logs that no longer identify you may also persist in short-lived backups before they age out.
Timeline
We confirm receipt of your request promptly and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity. If anything delays a request beyond that window, we will tell you why and give you an updated date.
